Welcome to Root Weavers. By accessing our website or purchasing any of our products or services, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Overview
Root Weavers provides custom ancestral products, digital and genealogical services, and related offerings. These Terms apply to all users of our site and customers who make purchases or use our services.
2. Custom Work & Customer Responsibility
Our products are custom-made based on the information you provide. You are responsible for submitting accurate, complete, and final data during the ordering process. Once your approval is received and production has begun, no further edits or cancellations can be made.
We offer reprints and support for errors—please refer to our Refund & Return Policy for details.
As Root Weavers grows, our deck design may evolve. Your cards will reflect the design available at the time of your order. While we’re always excited to share new editions, updated designs do not qualify previous orders for complimentary reprints.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including images, card designs, writing, and logos—is the intellectual property of Root Weavers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.
The information you submit for your ancestral cards remains your property, and we do not sell or share your data. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.
4. Payment & Pricing
All prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Payments are processed securely via our e-commerce platform.

5. Shipping & Delivery
Estimated timelines for delivery are provided on our Support page. While we do our best to meet these timelines, we cannot guarantee delivery dates due to potential delays related to shipping carriers, customs, or volume.
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout.
6. Refunds & Returns
Because our products are custom-made, we do not offer general returns. However, we do provide refunds and one-off reprints under specific conditions. See our full Refund & Return Policy.
7. Gift Cards
Root Weavers gift cards are digital-only, non-refundable, and delivered via email. They do not expire and may be used on any product in our shop.
8. Genealogy Support Services
By purchasing the Genealogy Support add-on, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Root Weavers partners with experienced genealogy researchers who strive to provide well-researched and sourced lineage information. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of genealogical data.
The research conducted is limited to the time and budget scope defined by your purchase. While we aim to uncover as much as possible, results vary depending on the accessibility and quality of historical records.
All findings are shared transparently, including confidence levels and source references where available. However, Root Weavers is not liable for any errors or omissions in the data provided.
The Genealogy Support add-on does not include unlimited research, nor any research beyond that which is publicly available and should not be considered a substitute for full-service genealogical consulting.
9. Astrological and Human Design Data Accuracy
The astrological planets chosen for the cards (Sun, Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto) almost never change zodiac signs within the 24 hours of a given birthday. On the extremely rare occasion (less than 0.05% of days) that one of these planets changes signs on a birthday, an exact birth time would be required to confirm the correct sign.
We acknowledge that a precise birth time is required to calculate an accurate Human Design type. We also recognize that finding this information for past generations is often not possible. To address this, we check the Human Design type for several times throughout the day (e.g., 12:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 11:59 p.m.). If the type remains the same all day, we display the Human Design information. If the type changes during the day, we do not display it. The vast majority of days have no type change at all—meaning everyone born on that day in a given location will have the same Human Design type, regardless of their birth time.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page, and continued use of the site or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
